Woah, 100+ subs, thanks for watching my channel! :) Today we're looking at Samuel Beckett's first novel which remained unpublished during his lifetime. Just to give you some context, Dream of Fair to Middling Women was written in 1932 when Beckett was 26, around the same time as Journey to the End of the Night, Light in August, The Waves, and Brave New World. Parts of this book ended up in his first collection, More Pricks Than Kicks.

Other books mentioned:
Purgatorio by Dante
Finnegans Wake by James Joyce
Molloy, Malone Dies, The Unnamable by Samuel Beckett
The Rachel Papers by Martin Amis
Damned to Fame by James Knowlson
