Samsung's had one job the last two years, catch up to what Motorola built with the Razr Fold. This year, they might've actually done it.
I put the Z Fold 8 Ultra head to head with the Razr Fold, the same phone that beat the Z Fold 7 in my last review. The camera gap I called out last time? Gone. The wobble and balance issues I couldn't stop talking about? Mostly fixed. Motorola still wins on battery and price, but this is the closest these two phones have ever been.
