Samsung just announced its entire 2026 foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, and Galaxy Watch 9. After spending time with all of them, here’s what stood out the most.
Surprisingly, it’s not the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra that has me most excited. It’s the regular Galaxy Z Fold 8. Samsung completely changed the form factor with a wider passport-style design that feels much more practical as both a phone and a tablet. It also happens to look a lot like what we’ve been hearing about Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone.
In this video I compare the Fold 8 Ultra and Fold 8, explain why I prefer the new passport-style design, look at the camera differences, share my thoughts on the Galaxy Z Flip 8, and go hands-on with the new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch 9.
