Samsung can now officially AirDrop to iPhones... at least on the S26 Ultra for now. Maybe the others will join in time... but STILL, this is something I've been waiting for.
We can now send AND receive photos and videos between the #Galaxy S26 Ultra and iPhone or #Mac with faster transfers and better quality... finally giving us that #AirDrop type of experience. Bullet breakdown of more details below:
- cross platform friendly so moving files between #Android and #Apple is way easier now
- faster transfers much closer AirDrop speeds, especially for large videos (or lots of pictures sent at once)
- better quality, no more compressed, fuzzy photos or videos
- no extra apps needed!
- more seamless workflow so switching between devices feels smoother
- cleaner sharing experience without links or uploads
