Today I review a budget pair of small diaphragm condenser and each of these mics costs $50. The microphone has a relatively high self noise which can be a problem if you're recording quiet sound sources or recording at great distances. The low end leaves a bit to be desired, and it comes across more mid focused with a grainy upper mid and treble region.
