On November 16th, Sammy and Kari were honored with the "I Am Making A Difference Award" from Tilly's Life Center (TLC) - a youth-focused, nonprofit charitable organization aimed at empowering all teens with a positive mindset and enabling them to effectively cope with crisis, adversity and tough decisions at their 10th Annual “I Am Giving” Gala. Through The Hagar Family Foundation, The Hagar's have committed to donating a majority of net proceeds from The Cabo Wabo Beach Club at The Waterfront Beach Resorts to TLC's programs, a group Sammy calls the "real deal".
