Another model railway scam has appeared — and it seems familiar.
Back in 2022 I covered Canns Models Limited, a website run by Adam Cann that took payments for model railway items that almost certainly didn’t exist. Now, several viewers have contacted me about a new seller called Gramps Turner, operating through eBay and a pop-up website… and the pattern feels almost identical.
⚠️ Scam Safety Tips (Covered in the Video)
• Never buy outside eBay or follow off-platform links
• Check what a seller has actually sold, not just their feedback score
• Be wary of prices that seem too good to be true
• Verify websites (domain age, address, reviews)
• Always pay by card or PayPal (NOT bank transfer)
• Report suspicious accounts to eBay and Action Fraud
