FSG Books invited me to their premiere event to celebrate the upcoming release of Sally Rooney’s fourth novel, Intermezzo, and it was such a wonderful event!
They had themed cocktails, a friendship bracelet station (I haven’t made one since I was 12!), a photo booth, and even a DJ who mixed together techno music and audiobooks haha
It was so nice seeing so many readers in one space to discuss Rooney’s work and our favorite books of the year, and I’m so proud of myself for going to this event alone without knowing anyone there!
I still can’t believe that I’ve read all of Sally Rooney’s books for the first time this year and was able to attend such an amazing event all because of this community and your support!
