On Tuesday September 8th at Nottingham dog track Salacres Fred was literally mowed down at the 1st bend and left to lay in 'desperate pain'
The race was stopped near to the finish line while two track officials stood towering over Salacres Fred - not offering him any comfort in his hour of need.
As the commentator said the 'prospects are not good for Salacres Fred' but we will never truly know his fate.
