Last year, I finally dedicated time into playing the Sakura Wars series - at least, as much of it as I could reasonably enjoy in English. A bit of time has passed since, and I can't stop thinking about my experiences with all three games available in English, and I'm frothing at the mouth in anticipation for Sakura Wars 2 and 3's fan translations while holding out hope for Sega themselves to give the franchise more attention in recent years. I LOVE this series, and just had to dedicate a video, at the very least, to the one that started it all. It's been over 20 years since its release, and I can confidently say that it holds up even with modern expectations. And now I'm gonna talk about it for over 20 minutes!
