Today Iām unboxing and taking a full walkthrough of the beautiful Sakura Spring Tarot, Version 3, Ukiyo-e Edition from Deckstiny!
Sakura Spring has always been a Japanese-themed tarot, inspired by the beauty of spring, cherry blossoms and Japanese culture. This latest 2026 edition takes that established theme and explores it through the traditional Japanese art style of Ukiyo-e, giving this much-loved deck a fresh artistic interpretation.
This is the third edition of Sakura Spring, and because I already have Version 2 in my collection, Iāll be putting the two editions side-by-side to see whatās changed and what has remained the same.
Iāll take you through the entire 78-card deck, looking at the artwork, symbolism, card stock, finish, edging, card backs and packaging, as well as highlighting some of my favourite cards along the way.
Iāll also be comparing it with my Version 2, looking at the differences in artwork, production, packaging and special cards. Version 2 included both the Happy Squirrel and Fortune Teller cards, so weāll see whatās changed between the editions.
