What if Vegeta defeats Kid Buu before Goku gathers enough energy for the spirit bomb?

I appreciate these fights. This fight would have been great to see in full animation back then. They throw Vegeta a bone and let him come out with a win. Sometimes I feel like SSJ3 is just cool factor because this is another iteration where SSJ2 Vegeta matches Goku at 3. The other being Battle of the Gods. We're way beyond that though.
