A new Sailor Moon anime movie (Original manga by Naoko Takeuchi) is currently running on Netflix called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal, so although the original series is a classic, there are plenty of new movies and also a new anime series called Sailor Moon Crystal from 2016.
