This pretty song was released in 2000 by Mark Knopfler and James Taylor. It tells the story of surveyor Jeremiah Dixon and astronomer Charles Mason, British surveyors who in the 1760's established the boundary between Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware to resolve a dispute over the land.
