Puerto Rico is an island in the Caribbean. Puerto Rico translated from Spanish means Rich Port. It is part of the Greater Antilles. It is located just east of the Dominican Republic. Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States. This means that people born on the island are US Citizens. However, Puerto Ricans cannot vote in Presidential elections.
