Today I wake up very early in Marrakech to hop in a minibus and travel 10 hours to the Sahara Desert. We stop multiple times along the way to enjoy the views while travelling through the Atlas Mountains. We also stop at Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate for a quick tour of the Kasbah and a delicious lunch of poulet tajine. When we finally arrive in the sahara, just outside of Zagora, we climb aboard our camels and ride through the desert during sunset, heading to our Berber camp. Once at the camp, we drop our stuff off in our tents and then enjoy Berber Whiskey (Moroccan Mint Tea) and dinner under the stars. We end the night singing songs around the camp fire.
