Sagalong 2025

Sagalong is an annual Booktube event where we select a medieval Icelandic saga (or two) to read and to discuss. This year’s selections are the Vinland Sagas, written in the 13th century, in the month of April.

The Vinland Sagas are two Icelandic texts written independently of each other - The Saga of the Greenlanders (Grænlendinga Saga) and The Saga of Erik the Red (Eiríks Saga Rauða). The sagas describe events occurring around 970–1030.
