My Slim Glide ET30 Roller Door was beeping and stopping while going up. You would start it again and it would go up some more, beep some more and stop. I counted 4 beeps. And my manual
http://www.acdcms.com.au/wp-content/uploads/install-manual-for-electric-limits.pdf suggested that this meant a broken potentiometer. But it turns out broken potentiometer is 4 short beeps. And I was getting long beeps.
I was able fix the problem by increasing the Safety Reverse Force setting. This video shows you how to do that and it points out a trap for beginners where it appears that you can't get the door into the Reverse Force setting mode. It shows how to deal with that issue.
And as bonus material this video also shows how to adjust the door travel limit setting which is needed if your door does not fully close or if it does not fully open.
