Mike Williams is a singer/songwriter from Texas. During the mid-1970s he started the B.F. Deal Records label. In 1977 the label released a sampler LP (B.F.Deal #S) which contained songs from up and coming artists, including Nanci Griffith. In 1978 the label released Ms Griffith’s first album, There’s A light Beyond These Woods (BFD 9).
