So it's Autumn now and I think we've had ten endless days in a row where it's been grey and grim without any blue sky or sun. The trees are shedding their beautiful leaves and all the lush green and remaining flowers are starting to wither. It's of course very normal but I think it creates a sad melancholy vibe in us and some fragrances really help to emphasise that feeling.
I love a great introspective scent and it's not a bad thing to feel sad sometimes. The world really has decided to repeat the last century as best it can, we never learn and if that didn't get to us we wouldn't be human. Fragrances have that power to take us to places, rekindle memories and feelings. Both good and bad.
