THE SACRED SCIENCE OF THE ANCIENT TEMPLES

From the ancient past to modern times, human beings have been experimenting with various architectural approaches, according to the time, the specific functions and their own level of Consciousness. Today, despite all the technological evolution and tools in our hands, there are still many unanswered questions regarding the use and purpose of ancient temples and megalithic monuments:
1) How were they built, why were they built in places with specific properties and with the use of a particular material?
2) What is sacred geometry and why was it incorporated into the design of ancient temples?
3) Why did the ancients and later mystics and masons spend so much time, energy and resources to build these structures?
4) Was it merely for divine worship or were there other more complex functions in nature?
This presentation synthesizes cutting edge science and spirituality product of over five years of doctoral research. The goal is to understand more deeply the design and function of temples in order to re-establish a relationship with them on another level.
We will go through the various parameters of geophysical location of earth radiation, discover the scientific properties for the choice of a sacred place, explore various ancient monuments such as mounds, megaliths, pyramids, stone circles, ancient Greek temples and try to explain the possible function of the construction of such incredible structures around the world and how to generate spaces that elevate fractality and energetic coherence in our home and office.
Lydia Gian. de Leon is a Greek Architect and Wellness Coach, with a focus on the relation of buildings on health and well-being. She holds a Ph.D in Physiology on the subject of the effect on geophysical anomalies on biology and has published in peer-review journals and conferences. She has been researching for 15 years the relation of ancient temples and their location. She is the creator of Healing Architecture and cofounder of Geophilia Institute, and author of the book The Power of Sacred location.
