Throw the nut once you're close to him and make sure he's standing up in his animation. You have multiple frames to throw the nut because the nut's stun as multiple frames to stun, like a Bomb's damage frames.
After you stun him, Sidehop behind him and Jumpslash out of it without Sword drawn.
