The Greater Sacramento Nepali Community Center is organizing support for victims of devastating flooding near the Nepal-Tibet border following a glacial collapse. Sacramento-area families have struggled to contact loved ones because of disrupted electricity and communications. One community member said a relative was trapped on a roof for more than a day before being rescued. The center plans to provide monetary donations and is asking the local community to help
