SackBoy: A Big Adventure
This is the hardest trophy in the game and will be a platinum killer for many. You must complete the final Knitted Knight Trial called the Ripsnorter with a gold time and this is no easy feat- this is all 15 prior trials spliced together in one mega challenge and unlocks after completing all prior trials. You must complete this in under 10 minutes and any time you die whether it's from falling or from being hit twice throughout the entire thing, you must start all over again. Some tips on this include:
Take your time! Obviously don't take too much time but 10 minutes isn't too bad and you can afford to slow down a bit on the trickier sections. You may want to optimise the earlier and easier parts of the run by constantly rolling and cutting corners by rolling and fluttering in midair to make the latter stages more comfortable on time. There are a lot of stopwatches on the final section which can bring down your time a lot, so don't panic if you feel like you're running out of time.
Collect any stopwatches on your path or slightly out of your way to cut down on time, but since you only have two hits or one mistimed jump before you have to restart, avoid the riskier ones as they're often not worth it.
Don't worry about going out of your way to collect the Dreamer Orbs if you've already got them, you can save time by cutting corners past them.
There's not actually anything new on this trial, so feel free to practice each individual section on the prior trials until you can consistently and safely make it through them before tackling this challenge.
Keep calm and be patient, as nerves and anger can really throw you off a run. Pause the game to take a breather when you need to, even in the middle of runs. Learn from your mistakes and keep practicing and you'll eventually get there.
This can be done with multiple people in the game, and only one person has to make it- meaning if you have a kind and skilled friend you can be carried through this if you really want to.
If you successfully complete the challenge, you'll be done with your biggest roadblock to platinum, congrats!
