Sabine Hossenfelder is a German theoretical physicist, philosopher of science, author, science communicator, YouTuber, musician, and singer. She has a PhD in physics and is presently a Research Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. She is a sort of Physics Cassandra, ominously warning in her book "Lost in Math" (Basic Books, 2018) that the pursuit of 'beauty' and naturalness is leading physics astray. She thinks most new Theories of Everything are useless and dislikes CERN’s plans for a new particle accelerator.
