A great milestone in the SAAO Spectrograph Upgrade Project, SpUp (sometimes referred to as "SpUppy"), was when the previously aligned optical package (also called the "bottom box"), was mounted on 13 August 2015. This was followed by the CCD Cryostat which was then cooled down to cryogenic temperatures using liquid nitrogen.
