Katie4 | SA2B: Meteor Herd M1/M4 in 14.65 @Katie4 | Uploaded August 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
it turns out that tommy has a 14.79 on TSC, something i didn't find on SRC back when i was playing this mission. i figured grinding it would be absolute hell so i asked labrys who then asked drum who had insight from onvar on how to do super metronome stuff.
huge shoutouts to onvar for creating the super metronome and reverse-engineering some piece generation stuff thus making this possible.
huge shoutouts to drum for being british and sharing the knowledge from onvar.
huge shoutouts to labrys for doing the generation work, finding the initial setup, and developing a program which helped with finding the frames and finding the setup that i ultimately used.
here are the specifics of this particular super metronome setup:
---
load in on set 960
use meteors as a visual cue (top right plus offscreen right meteor, meteor sound around late 6/early 7 IGT)
pause on 8.60
restart for set 512
win
---
load delay = 964
restart delay = 626
target frame = 960
(don't use above numbers, you have to find your own :))
