The 50R6 Vityaz (Russian: ЗРК Витязь) or S-350E is a Russian medium-range surface-to-air missile system developed by GSKB Almaz-Antey. Its purpose is to replace the S-300PS and S-300PT-1A. The system design traces its roots from the joint South Korean/Russian KM-SAM project and uses the same 9M96 missile as the S-400 missile system
Design and development
The 50R6A Vityaz missile system consists of:
1-2 50N6A multifunctional passively electronically scanned array radar stations. 360° coverage for early detection, target illumination and missile guidance.
1 50K6A command post, fully autonomous combat work with interaction with other remote systems.
1-8 50P6 launcher (12-96 missiles).
9M96/9M96E(E2) guided missiles; passive guidance and other missiles with active homing guidance. 12–120 km (7.5–74.6 mi) range, aerodynamic control surfaces and jet engines of control surfaces.
9M100 guided missiles; 10–15 km (6.2–9.3 mi) range; infrared passive homing; aerodynamic control surfaces and jet engines of control; maximum maneuver 60 G-20 surfaces.

All vehicles are based on a Bryansky Avtomobilny Zavod chassis. The naval version with 9M96E guided missile which passed state tests in 2018 is the Poliment-Redut.

The BMPT Terminator (Боевая машина поддержки танков - Tank Support Fighting Vehicle) is an armored fighting vehicle (AFV), designed and manufactured by the Russian company Uralvagonzavod. This vehicle was designed for supporting tanks and other AFVs in urban areas. The BMPT is unofficially named the Terminator by the manufacturers. It is heavily armed and armored to survive in urban combat. The AFV is armed with four 9M120 Ataka missile launchers, two 30 mm 2A42 autocannons, two AG-17D grenade launchers, and one coaxial 7.62 mm PKTM machine gun.
The BMPT is built on the chassis of the widely-used T-72 main battle tank. The BMPT was designed based on combat experience gained during the Soviet–Afghan War and the First Chechen War. Multiple prototypes of a tank support combat vehicle were created prior to the design of the current BMPT. The Object 199 Ramka was the prototype later to be designated the modern BMPT with the official producer being Uralvagonzavod. By late 2013, the only operator of the BMPT was Kazakhstan.
A small number were delivered to the Russian Ground Forces for evaluation beginning in 2005. The Russian Defence Ministry finally ordered the BMPT in August 2017.[citation needed] Deliveries of more than 10 vehicles were begun in early 2018. On December 1, 2021, the first in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation BMPT company of nine combat vehicles was introduced into one of the tank regiments of the tank division of the Central Military District. The version, unofficially dubbed the Terminator-3, incorporates the chassis, hulls, and components of the T-14 Armata tank
