네팔 홍수 피해 대응 위해 대한민국 해외긴급구호대 파견 1일 밤 출국

South Korea will dispatch a 44-member disaster relief team to flood-hit Nepal on Tuesday at the request of Nepal's government.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Korean Disaster Relief Team, or KDRT, made up of personnel from organizations including the foreign ministry and the National Fire Agency, will depart aboard a military aircraft this evening.
During a mission that will last approximately 10 days, the team will carry out search and rescue operations, including efforts to locate South Korean nationals who remain out of contact.
The foreign ministry added it will continue consulting with Nepalese authorities on further assistance.
