In this video we take a tatty, non-working Sega Saturn that was donated by Mike Dailly - the creator of Lemmings. We see what the problem is with the console, and then look to install a Fenrir ODE (Optical Drive Emulator) so we can load Saturn games from SD card.
We do the full Fenrir install, update the Fenrir Firmware and test some USA, European and Japanese games to see if the automatiic region switching works.
This musty, dusty console suprised me a LOT! Big thanks to @RMC - The Cave for the television set and Mike Dailey for the console.

Join me as we start a new series called "Does It Work". This is intended to be a way of showing you what potential projects we have in the pile without repairing them yet. We look at the item, see if it works! If it doesn't we look at repair options and if it DOES we look at possible upgrades and enhancement, all for a future video (well, if anyone is interested.)
In today's Episode of Does It Work, we are looking at a semi-boxed Amstrad GX4000 console as donated by Mike Dailly of Lemmings and GTA fame, as well as a MELTED MONSTROSITY from my house fire.
We'll find out DOES IT WORK together!
