Should you manually overclock a Ryzen APU or always use curve optimizer?
Well, it depends. Take this Ryzen 5 8600G for example.
It's stock maximum 1 core boost frequency is 5 GHz.
But with a manual overclock, it can run all cores at 5.1 GHz.
Just using Curve Optimizer will not give better performance.
Unless we also set a +200 MHz Boost Clock Override.
Because then our single-core boost frequency is 5200 MHz
And then we get better performance than with our manual overclock
