My old Ryobi mower was recalled do to a potential electrical fault that could cause a fire. I followed the warranty procedure and waited... and waited and waited some more. Eventually they sent me a damaged mower. I managed to fix it easily enough but am far from impressed. The mower works great, I've used it a couple times now and really like it, but Ryobi's customer service is terrible. Which is really too bad considering the thousands I've spent on Ryobi tools over the last few years. I definitely won't be spending any more money on their 40V line or anything even remotely expensive. From now on I'll only buy Ryobi stuff that Home Depot will take as a return, basically considering them disposable now seeing as how @RyobiCanada or @tticanadainc.9908 won't even reply to emails.
It's a shame, because it does seem to be a pretty good mower and in general Ryobi makes great stuff. They just need to work on customer service.
