In this video I talk with Ryo in Georgian and English about him learning Georgian. He is from Japan and is here teaching Japanese to students. He's able to have conversation with me and my coworkers with relative ease and has only been here for about 16 months.

It seems the way he learned was just diving into books, working really hard with studying, and immersing himself through teaching Japanese in Georgian to students here in Georgia
