Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, 21st January 2004. During the eleventh song of the second set of the night, having been clambering around the stage, Ryan suddenly disappeared from view, having dropped off the front of the stage. You can hear the thud in this recording as he lands, then momentarily tries to carry on. He was helped back onto the stage, but went straight off and to hospital for the work which you see in the images here.
