RV Travel Canada: Alaska Highway edition! We thought we were prepared for the Alaska Highway, but this day proved us wrong in ways we never expected.
After 4 years of RV life full time, this became our absolute worst travel day. What started as a routine journey from Teslin to Whitehorse quickly spiraled into one of our most challenging experiences as full time RVers living on the road. From unexpected road hazards to emergency repairs, and discoveries that made us question everything - this day tested us like never before.
But here's the thing about RV life: sometimes you have to make your own sunshine, even when everything seems to go wrong. We found silver linings in the most unexpected places and learned that the Alaska Highway always keeps you on your toes.
