In this video, we are RV boondocking in the California City OHV area for Thanksgiving. Boondocking in our RV means that we are fully self-contained, California City is a small town with a strange history.
California City OHV area is super popular for OHV riding, offroading, prelanders, overlanding, and razors. We started the trip off by arriving late due to our Overlanding Jeep Grand Wagoneer being broken. On Thanksgiving we do a huge potluck with all of our friends, dispersed camping in California allows us to camp close together without reservations. On black friday we do an offroad run into the small town of Boron California just south of California City. Dispersed camping in southern California can be hard to come by unless you are out on BLM land. Later in the weekend we overland over to California City to see the abandoned hotel, Lakeshore Inn. Overall it's a great trip with friends nd family.
