Rusty cast iron restoration part 1: in this video i will show you how to restore rusty cast iron and steel parts using vinegar. i am using heinz cleaning vinegar it is 6% acid but i cut it in half with water . it works and is cheep i made 4 gal. for $7.00. don't feel limited to just that you can use distilled white vinegar apple cider vinegar and probably many other kinds of acids as well studdy up first. this will work for removing rust from cast iron skillets dutch ovens and other cast iron cookware.
