saveitforparts | Russian Meteor M2-4 Satellite Is Back Online! @saveitforparts | Uploaded April 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The latest Russian weather satellite is back in operation after having some initial startup issues. It took longer to come fully online than prior satellites in the Meteor series, so hopefully it doesn't have any ongoing issues. For now I can receive it on both VHF (LRPT) and L-Band (HRPT), although I haven't been able to decode any of the data from the LRPT signal.
