In this video we present some Russian fisticuffs and Slavic boxing combos that come mostly from traditional Russian styles connected to folkloric sport fighting. These combos make much use of hammerfists and "double strikes", either with both arms striking almost simultaneously from the same body rotation, or punches followed by hammerfists executed with the same hand in a figure 8 fashion. It is a very aggressive style of fist fighting, that requires strong forward movement and constant pressure and activity. In our school we often combine these combos with unbalancing the opponent and wrestling takedowns, whenever this option becomes available.
