Russell compared it to another moment entirely, being invited to international hostage negotiations and catching himself wondering what he should wear rather than thinking about the hostages at all. It wasn't until he sat quietly in that chapel and read a verse from Isaiah about redemption that the realization actually landed, once you're redeemed, you don't belong to yourself anymore.
