Possibly the dumbest thing I've ever done? Nah. This trojan is pretty safe. Should I have a scammer react to it?

Background: trojan.js.youareanidiot is a javascript trojan that is harmless. When the website with the original javascript is loaded, numerous popups will appear. It's written to where it should be impossible to be closed without killing it in task manager or restarting. The website has since been fixed and rewritten to where these annoying popups should not occur.
