This is a short test of the Runcam Thumb cam stabilized with Gyroflow. I am honestly pretty stoked about the results - it was pretty windy today so I was not sure if I get usable footage at all - but it's not too bad.
Other than stabilization, the footage is unedited and the rest of the settings is default. I used the included ND filter. The settings can definitely be tweaked a bit and some color can be applied in post prod - but for now I am happy to somewhat understand the Gyroflow workflow.
The Runcam Thumb has 3 modes: 1080p@30fps, 1080p@50fps and 1080p@60fps. Unfortunately all of them share the same bitrate of 18Mbps. For good stabilization you should run it at least at 50fps. I am currently playing around with stabilization at 30fps, since the image would be so much nicer with a lower frame rate.
Be aware that for stabilization with gyroflow you need to update your Runcam Thumb firmware to at least v2.1.0:
