The Runcam 3 is reborn but is it really a practical replacement for the now dead GoPro Session?
Bottom line: the RC3s is a low-cost HD camera with a great form-factor for use on racing drones and has been improved in quite a number of ways over the original but I must admit to being disappointed at the optics which were far better in the original Runcam 3. The lack of Superview and/or a 1440p mode will also disappoint many drone racers and freestylers.
Still, for $99, why wouldn't you buy one -- at least for the beater-quad or as a backup for when your last GoPro session bites the dust?
