Runaway Mine Train is a classic Mack Rides powered coaster, taking guests on a thrilling journey around Katanga Canyon. Originally opening in 1992 as part of the ambitious park expansion plans by the Tussauds Group, the ride was designed by John Wardley and runs alongside the Congo River Rapids, even sharing a tunnel where guests can wave at each other.
