Found this Sharp VC-H954 HiFi VHS VCR a few months ago. Wouldn't power up on account of a busticated capacitor. Replaced dead capacitor and while the vacuum fluorescent display is on the dim side, this otherwise works. Luckily enough, we had a Sharp VCR remote laying about that worked most of the functions for this unit.
