LCJACKS used this beat in his concept album Distant, which I engineered for him. I like the piece so much that I transcribed it last night and finished transcribing it this evening.
I used EQ to figure-out each note in the chord (the amazing thing about electric pianos is that when you use EQ to figure-out the notes it is playing, you don't get thrown-off by overtones). There might not be a hi-hat hit when the snare hits: either all or none of the snare hits have a consecutive hi-hat hit.

I initially transcribed this piece months ago for pep band. Recently, I found the official VGZ file, converted it (to a VGM file and then) to a MIDI file, and then imported it into Logic Pro X in order to perfect my transcription. I then utilized the MIDI file in recreating the song in Logic Pro X.
