I made this a while ago, but I'm still really proud of it. I think the instruments I chose really help it imitate the atmospheric feeling of the original track.
Storytime. The Ruins theme is one of my favorite songs on Undertale's soundtrack because of my first experiences with the demo. I saw either Toby or somebody else link to it on the starmen.net forums in 2013, played through it, and absolutely loved it, but I saw a comment on YouTube vaguely hinting about how no mercy mode works (nothing explicit, just "do this, and something...interesting will happen"). So I went through with it all the way up to Toriel (this is where the demo left off), and needless to say I felt tense and a bit sick for the rest of the day. I deleted the demo and said "heck with this" because of how that felt, but I kept the ruins.ogg file that came with it because it was so damn catchy.
Thankfully when the full game came out, I gave it another chance and loved it just as much as I first had.

YIIK is set to release in a few months, I think. I am super stoked, it feels like the story is going to hit just the right balance of creepy, goofy, and intense. Like most of the music stuff I do, this took a few months to finish properly, working on and off between college classes and everything else. Sometimes I would stop working, and not start again until a few weeks later. As always, it was worth it :)")

This game, also known as Lunar Chase, was made by the same people that made the original Star Fox! Its really hard to come by, but I highly reccomend playing it any way you can.

This took _ages_ to get right, but wow, was it worth it. This is probably the most insane song Ive ever tried to cover! Tim Follin was an absolute master at making the simplest of audio chips sound like a real musician going ham on their electric guitar.
