RUINS is a sonic excavation—a collaboration instrument between six experimental guitarists and SLATE + ASH that transforms the electric guitar into a study of collapse, texture, and spatial memory. Captured at Circular Ruin Studios in New York under the ear of producer Randall Dunn, the project explores how sound can degrade with purpose, and how decay itself can be compositional.
