Mr. Wayne June, the iconic narrator and voice of The Ancestor from the Darkest Dungeon franchise, has sadly passed away recently. While I had many inspirations on my path to becoming a voice actor and narrator myself, Crispin Freeman, Kingspook, and many others, Mr. June was the one whose voice captured my interest the earliest on. Many of my early Lovecraft narrations were literally just my own impressions of him, and the second video I ever uploaded to this channel, many many years ago, was the introductory speech to Darkest Dungeon.
That was over seven years in the past now, and I wanted to take this time to "complete the circle" as it were. Godspeed Mr. Wayne June. You were, and continue to be, an inspiration to so many of us. Rest in Peace.
