Our two dogs wore the Ruffwear Approach dog backpacks on the Continental Divide Trail for 2,000 miles. We found out what's great about these backpacks and where they will fail over time. We also learned a lot about hiking with dogs and how to keep everyone more comfortable on the trail. These backpacks were destroyed after 2,000 miles but we bought two more because we like them that much.
